My background spans information technology, medical librarianship, research, and bioethics. I am especially interested in how evidence is found, evaluated, organized, and communicated—and in how technology can make that work more useful to people.

Before moving into health care and medical information, I worked in information technology. That combination of technical practice and research experience continues to shape how I approach complex questions: understand the underlying information, make the structure clear, and build something that is usable.
